FOLIAR NUTRITION OF GINGER FOR HIGHER YIELD AND QUALITY
Ginger–: A crop specific micronutrient foliar spray for higher yield in ginger. It is a research formulation of ICAR- Indian Institute of Spices Research, Kozhikode, Kerala.
How to Use: For one acre, mix 3 kg of the powder in 600 litres of water for one spray and mix thoroughly before spraying.
Spray two to three times at 60, 90 and 120 days after planting of ginger, preferably between 6.00-11.00 a.m. and 4.00 to 6.00 p.m. So, in a cropping season, 9 kg mixture may be needed for three sprays.
The ingredients used are the materials permitted (fully or in restricted quantities) under organic standards and hence it can be very well used under certified organic production of spices
The fresh rhizome yield increase is up to 15-25%.
Warning: To be sprayed alone, do not mix with any other plant protection chemicals (pesticides, fungicide etc).
